I recently purchased this product as my first handgun. It feels great in hand, and when drawn, the sights line up naturally. Have had many friends and family using all 3 calibers of the XD''s, and no problems with any of them! I bought the 4 service model, but plan to get my permit to carry and will use it as a conceal gun. Great gun and would highly suggest to anyone!!

I have recently bought an XD40 compact for concealed carry. And I love it. Shots very very well. Not too big and not too small for the type of work that I do and is the perfect weapon.

Went to ShootStraight''s Brandon Florida Location to Purchase a Compensated Glock 22. I ended up Coming home with the Springfield Armory XD-40 Compact 4. Well balanced, very accurate, Grip is more ergonimcal then that of the Glock and feels great. Anyone who has ever handled a Glock know the grip sometime can be rather blocky and uncomfortable. Compare that to XD-40 it was an easy win for the XD.
Weapon is light weight and the recoil is less then one would expect for a 40cal. I have put 3000+ rounds through the barrel and have never experiance a jam or mis fire.
On Range firing from sever tactical positions weapon continues to perform perfect and accurately.
Great for home protection, a bullet hole fro mthis will hurt just as much as a Bullet hole from a Glock?
Only difference is you paid less!
